CWCT has a full research and development programme that leads to publications, seminars courses. This work is supported by a combination of funding from industry and Government.

CWCT may lead or collaborate in research projects and has worked jointly with many Universities and research organisations. Research and development projects always have an industry steering group to ensure relevance to industry.

CWCT also undertakes restricted access research when it is funded by a single company or consortium.
