This webinar introduced our recently published Technical Notes on thermal performance and condensation, briefly discussing the target audience and scope. The TNs covered were:
- TN106 - Fundamentals of heat transfer,
- TN107 - Thermal transmittance (U-values) for built-up walls,
- TN108 - Thermal bridges (Psi and Chi values),
- TN109 - Thermal bridges within SAP and NCM calculations.
- TN110 - Designing building facades to manage the risk of surface condensation and mould growth,
- TN111 - Designing building facades to manage the risk of interstitial condensation.
After a short presentation, we had a Q&A discussion about this work.
This webinar introduced our recently published Technical Notes on fire performance of facades, briefly discussing the target audience and scope. The TNs covered were:
- TN113 – Fire performance of facades – Introduction,
- TN114 – Fire performance of facades – Use of combustible materials,
These Technical Notes are the first in a series of four that replace former guidance in TN98. The remaining two TNs are in preparation and cover the performance curtain walls and built-up walls.
After a short presentation, we had a Q&A discussion about this work.

This is the third TN in our series of four that replace former guidance in TN98.
After a quick recap of TN113 and TN114, we introduced the new guidance, discussing the scope and key takeaways.
Following the presentation, we answered questions about this guidance.
