About this event

Our 2026 AGM and Members' Meeting will covering three key topics this year:

  • Sustainability,

  • Fire,

  • Innovation.

Our topics were chosen by our Members – these were the most popular suggestions following a survey of attendees at last year’s event.

Sustainability is now firmly embedded in the façade industry, and recent progress has been significant. Yet delivering genuinely low-impact, practical and buildable solutions remains a complex task. This session brings together a range of perspectives on how the industry can move from ambition to action, exploring the decisions, trade-offs and innovations shaping more sustainable façade design.

Fire performance continues to be one of the most critical and closely scrutinised issues in façade design, particularly for complex systems such as curtain walling. Through a focused panel discussion, this session will examine the technical, regulatory and professional responsibilities associated with façade fire performance, and consider how the industry can respond with clarity, confidence and accountability.

The day concludes by looking ahead to the technologies and innovations reshaping the façade sector. From digital tools and data-driven design to smarter ways of working, this session will ask whether technology is truly improving façade outcomes. It will also explore the opportunities, limitations and risks that come with innovation in a fast-evolving industry.

The day will start with an AGM and an update of CWCT activities.

A draft programme will be available soon.

This event is always very popular, and last year’s event was a sell-out, despite the larger venue.  We therefore suggest booking early to avoid disappointment so that as many of you as possible will be able to join us for what we’re sure will be another great event.

Tickets are currently only available to CWCT Members.   Non-members will be able to purchase a ticket from 01 Septembers if there are any spaces remaining.  If non-members would like to attend, please email cwct@cwct.co.uk to be added to the waiting list.

If you are booking on behalf of someone else, or booking multiple places, please add the names and email addresses of those who will be attending in the notes section prior to the checkout:

Please also use the notes section to tell us about any specific requirements you may have.

Companies may purchase multiple tickets; however, we reserve the right to adjust orders should availability become limited and demand from other Members increase.

The event will take place at The Mermaid London. Please click here for directions.

The closest tube station to The Mermaid is Blackfriars.  Turn right out of the station and walk along Queen Victoria Street. Cross over Puddle Dock, and you will see a sign for The Mermaid in front of you. Go down the first flight of steps to the lower level and the entrance is a short distance a head on the right-hand side:

A review of last year’s AGM is available here, with presentations available to download via the Cladding Forum.
