Embodied carbon calculator

INTRODUCTION

We are very pleased to make available a spreadsheet for calculating the embodied carbon of façade systems.  This has been produced in collaboration with WSP, and we are very grateful for all of their support throughout this process.  Collaboration such as this is really important is a great example of how the industry is working together to try and tackle issues such as sustainability.  

INSTRUCTIONS

The tool can be downloaded by filling out the form below.

Detailed instructions can be found on the ‘Intro’ tab of the spreadsheet.  Further guidance is also included at various points within the spreadsheet.  Please read these instructions/tips carefully.

A User Guide containing more information, limitations and caveats is available to download here.

In response to frequent questions on using the tool, we are producing ‘How to’ guides – see below:
