Glass risk assessments are considered one principal method of selecting safe and appropriate glass on projects of all scales. A properly completed assessment can save time and money on a project and demonstrate appropriate considerations around safety to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
This course will introduce the common criteria and considerations needed to produce a complete glass risk assessment. It provides step by step instructions, highlights common causes of conflict and ultimately aims to give the audience to tools and skills to apply on their own projects.
Target audience
This course is aimed at anyone all parties involved in the design of façades or façade components that incorporate glass, from the architects through specialist contractors.

Pre-requisites
The course is set up for those who are already familiar with glass types and properties. For those who need an introduction or refresher on glass types and properties, we suggest taking our C202 – Glass and glazing course before taking this more focused course.
