Description

Outline

This new Spotlight Series course provides an introduction to façade access and the key considerations involved in safely accessing and maintaining building envelopes.

Falls from height continue to account for the largest number of fatal workplace injuries. As façades become more complex and access for inspection, maintenance, and refurbishment/recommissioning increases, working at height remains a critical risk that must be carefully managed.

This course introduces relevant legal frameworks and guidance on access, outlines major categories of access equipment, and highlights considerations for reducing risk when working at height.
