In December 2021 a number of new Approved Documents were published:
Approved Document F – Ventilation
Approved Document L – Conservation of fuel and power
Approved Document O – Overheating.
Approved Document F (ADF) has been published as two volumes, with ADF1 covering dwellings and ADF2 covering buildings other than dwellings.
Approved Document L (ADL) has also been published as two volumes (previously it contained four volumes), with ADL1 covering dwellings and ADL2 covering buildings other than dwellings.
Approved Document O is new – overheating was previously included in ADL.
All of these new Approved Documents take effect on 15 June 2022.
