Earlier this week (27.11.23) our sustainability workstream leaders met to give an update on the fantastic work they are doing as part of our sustainability initiative.
Great progress is being made on all of the workstreams, and the commitment shown by all those involved is amazing.
Our Refurbishment workstream would like to include brief case study examples of various façade refurbishment interventions. In particular, we are looking for:
- Facade repairs which have achieved sustainable outcomes
- Sustainable interventions that have been triggered by things other than development (e.g. remediation)
- Adaptive reuse of facades – remodelling
- Studies of embodied carbon vs operation carbon trade-offs to inform the strategy.
